I recently purchased this R57 S Convertible (2012 with N-18 Turbo) and have some engine codes I cannot find information on.
I have not gotten under the car to view the fan. An oil leak with significant oil smell and being told "it needs a new engine" is preventing me from doing a substantial drive.
Investigating first. A leakdown test is in the immediate future and based on the results, a check of the head.

I used a Bluetooth Reader but also my Foxwell.

The Engine codes I have a question on are:
1) 31ED "Electric fan, triggering output stage 2: Open Circuit"
2) 31E9 "Electrical fan, control line: open circuit"


I also have a Footwell Module Code of A8B7 that reads "History. Right brake light defective, PL3 from 7/14 and SA5A1: foglight LED faulty, PL3 from 7/14 and SA896: daytime running light halogen light faulty"

Any help would be appreciated.
