Did some transmission work (protip: if you're having clutch problems, the clutch fork might be seizing) and had the subframe out. Now that it's time to put it back in, I'm totally stumped because I have a wire left over. It's bundled together with the wires for the power steering. I don't think I can put the subframe back without figuring out where it goes. I can't really believe I'm having a huge problem with something as simple as this, but I've been looking for a while and I'm stumped.
Oh my god. That is probably it. The P/S fan is indeed sitting on the ground (I removed it to clean it off, it had a lot of oil/mud on it) so that would explain why I can't find anything this wire goes to. I feel even stupider than before, but I can now proceed unhindered, so many thanks.
