help! Working on my mini and did a clutch job and now I have a mysterious wire that goes nowhere! Could anyone tell me where it goes?

This one comes out of the bundle of wires that goes to the oil sending unit and power steering fan wires. Where does it go?

 

I just had a similar panic, and it is the the wire for the power steering cooling fan, a separate unit which I had removed. Perhaps you have a similar issue? Well, it's been weeks, so maybe you figured it out already, but if you're still stumped you can send some clearer pictures including the end of the socket.
