Is this plausible?

Is this plausible?

Hi All, first post. 2010 mcs bought as a crank no start due to water intrusion. Replaced the JBE and it runs. Idled fine, disturbing growl from engine under load for the first 40 seconds then it quiets down. Ordered up tools and a timing chain kit. In the photo the crank is locked, the pin is in. Is it possible for the timing to be this far off? The timing chain was replaced by the dealer at 32k, now at 78k. I would appreciate your input.

Thanks, Mike

Mike

Sorry, I can't help directly. This is a Gen 1 forum. You'll likely get more help if you post in one of the Gen 2 forums. There is a Stock Problems/Issues forum in that section as well.
