Stripped Spark Plug Hole R56

My first post, unfortunately due to my own stupidity. 2009 Mini Cooper Base

So I overtightened my spark plugs and stripped one of the holes... and maybe damaged the other three. Go ahead and leave your comments below lol I deserve it. I've decided to go with a Timesert rethread kit but I've got some concerns.

The spark plugs have a whopping 26.5mm reach, and my understanding is that that would be about the same depth as the hole as well? The Timesert 4212 kit uses inserts of at most 24mm reach (on their website). Does the insert have to be the same depth as the spark plug? Would using a shorter insert in this case cause issues? Or am I completely wrong in assuming the hole's thread depth is as long as the spark plug reach? Would hate to go with a whole new cylinder head.

Any help is much appreciated!

I think I'll just go with the 24mm. Measuring the spark plug threads from the washer is just about 24mm. Probably overthinking it at this point.
