Spark Plug Gapping...?
Spark Plug Gapping...?
I purchased an ignition refresh kit recently. And, when I asked if the plugs were pre-gapped, was told "No, as no spark plugs come pre-gapped."
However, the Bentley manual (020-28) says that the NKG BKR7's have a non-adjustable plug gap. I.e., they are pre-gapped...?
Just want to get clarification before I button things up.

With these 4 prong plugs you don't gap them. If you try you will likely damage the plug.
On a multi prong plug the spark is still going to take the path least resistance to ground. But as one prong wears it will go to the next prong and so on, as that is the advantage to the 4 prongs.
So use them as they come out of the box.
