-18% Long Term Fuel Trim
-18% Long Term Fuel Trim
Hello guys, my r56 n14 turbo manual transmission just gone through major maintenance. timing chain, tensioner, valve cover and thermostat housing replaced, injectors and intake is cleaned. car is working great except for one minor complaint; when i'm driving very slowly (creeping speeds without pressing clutch) at 1st or 2nd gear at around 1k rpm, if i touch the accelerator, it starts to chug very badly until either rpms rise or pressing the clutch. this was non existent before maintenance.
no codes or anything but when i check long term fuel trim, it's around -18% when i press the accelerator. this value was -1% or something like that before the work. are these somehow related?
also, idling is rock solid, plugs, coils and vanos solenoid are new (changed them myself before maintenance, after i changed them, problem was not there).

I would want to check cam timing. How many miles since new chain? Did the issue become apparent immediately?
Remove battery ground for a bit (not sure how long that needs to be) that will clear adaptation values from the ECU.
