R50/53 Reading Fuel Trim
Reading Fuel Trim
Is there a way to read long term fuel trim on the r53 without an external tool? I know there are some hidden ecu settings.
I have an mpps v13 and v16 but I don't think they can read that kind of thing, right?
I just want to be sure my air intake is working right with no leaks. If it leaks then fuel trim should be accounting for a rich mixture.
Perhaps a different question - I find the acceleration very slightly jumpy / staggering when going at low speed in first gear. Nothing to really complain about but gets me wondering why. Can it just be the short term fuel trim being felt when in such a low gear and applying such gentle acceleration?

I think you may have what has been referred to as the "Yo Yo" Effect
