Self inflicted wound

I am trying to relocate the aerial on the top of my 2003 hatch with no sunroof. While I was (I thought) being careful cutting the cloth sticky tape, I cut this small diameter coax. Originally it was wound around the large coax cable that connected to the aerial and was running toward the right C pillar.

Any idea what t may be?

That coax may be part of the antenna amplifier on the passenger side or the hatch antenna system.

You can repair/slice coax if you are handy with a soldering iron. You can google how to do it. I repaired the coax wires on an R53 after the hatch was changed by a butcher.
