Corner marker lights

I have 2008 Mini cooper S and I went to replace the corner marker lights that are in the fender flares and found a strange problem. I have two that work and two that don't. The bulbs are fine as I tested them in the working locations. The front passenger and the rear driver lights work, but the front driver and rear passenger lights don't work.

I think, but don't know for sure that these lights are controlled by the foot well controller. I don't have a schematic for the car and so it is hard to trace back to a source for these lights. I know that I could just wire across from one, but not sure I want to create a problem by doing that.

Has anyone run across this before? Solutions?

Have the foot well module scanned for error codes.

I apologize one of the images didn't focus correctly.
I accessed the plugs to the FRM and did a continuity check from the front left marker light positive lead to the plug on the FRM so I know that I have connection. My reader gives me the option to erase faults, I select it and it says faults erased but they are still there when I rescan. The thing is that all of these things that have faults work except the left front and rear right marker lights. Could it be that the FRM can't be cleared by the reader?
