Hi guys, new owner of a real fixer upper r53. I drove the car for an hour and when i stopped for gas, the dsc and tire pressure turns on after a while. One time all of the lights was lit and the gauges went ham, it went up and down then everything goes back to normal. When i start the car, sometimes the tachometer isn’t working then after a few minutes it turns back on.

i checked the battery since it’s a new one, it’s good. I just want opinions on what is the possible solution on this. Im planning on checking the fuse box and the wiring. Any help is appreciated

 

Seems like you stumped the class. Did you ever get anywhere with this?

 

i did, i removed the tachometer and it was all good. I been driving without it but there’s no more Christmas lights. I got lucky i guess

 

Seems fairly common for these cars. Maybe u can find a used working tech
