When I run my heater and fan a distinct burning smell between wood and plastic happens so badly that it makes my eyes burn. With fan only and no heater, no problem. Has anybody else experienced this?

 

No experience with that here. I highly recommende getting your car into the dealer ASAP. Fire + MINI = teh bad.

 

I haven't experienced anything. It is a possibility that you have ingested something...

 

ive had it happen.. tho doesnt happen often enuf... its just before i shut down the car the heater makes that smell, and very weak at it... and often it doesn't even do it

bring it in... that's what i do if it happens alot

 

I get this kinda smell with the heat kicking on in the morning quite often. I just had it at the dealer and everything checks out. Dunno.
