So a "yet another ticking sound" thread. The odd thing is, mine seems to come and go, and it's not only when idle, but under load while driving as well. And it fades in and out. Trying to diagnose it.

* Car has about 75K miles.
* Timing chain tensioner changed twice (once under dealer warranty at around 20K, and once in the last 5K or so).
* Oil was changed not so long ago, current level and colour seems fine.
* No relevant codes seem to be stored (have a thermostat-related "temperature low" code, but I don't think that's related?)
