I've purchased a n12 base model from 2007. I've been working on fixing it but I have cleared about a dozen codes and it looks like I have 4 left now.
P173b-unknown
P113b-unknown
P0117-ECT sensor 1 circuit low
P0030-H02S 11 heater control circuit
Any help or advice with these codes would be a wonderful help as I'm about ready to fill this car up with tannerite and put it out of its misery.
Just replaced the maf sensor yesterday with the same oem model number part. Also found out the coolant temp sensor plug has been basically ripped off the wiring harness. So I need to find someway to splice a new connector into it.
Some OBD codes will remain until a clean drive cycle has taken place. If you JUST replaced the MAF and the code remains, I would just give it some drive time. However, it sounds like you can't complete any drive cycles due to other issues that need to be taken care of.
You're absolutely correct. Person I bought the car from used brute force with everything he did to the car for maintenance. So I guess I'm going to the scrap yard to get some plugs
