New pads and sensors, red warning light now Amber after reset?

Hi All,

Hopefully someone can help me here? I've put new front pads rotors and new rear pads and new brake wear sensors on my wife's 09 Cooper 1.6i. It had the mini on the lift and handbrake light permanently on and a little yellow triangle warning with an exclamation mark in, next to the mileage. I've followed the reset procedure in the sticky thread above and reset the brake warnings to 36k front and 37k rear and checked everything else in the service menu but all dates are in the future (2022 or 2023). After the reset I now have a yellow/amber on the lift and the red handbrake light turns to yellow/amber (or is it orange?) when I release the handbrake.

I've been over and over everything and even removed the wheels to check the sensors are seated okay (they are), but no matter what I do, i cant get these warning/service lights to go out? Am I missing something obvious here? Help!

TIA

Front pad wear sensor? What is the level of the fluid in the reservoir? Even if the fluid looks level, it can read low.

Hi,
New pad sensors front and rear. The m/cylinder was actually overfull after winding all the caliper pistons back and I had to take some brake fluid out, but it didn't affect the light before or after??
