Window "ratchet" sound

Window "ratchet" sound
After an icy day, my 03MCS makes a ratcheting sound when the window (driver's side) goes up. It works properly (drop down/up) when the door is open.
Dealer reopens Tuesday, but wonder if anyone else experienced this?
My car seems to be on a lot of "firsts" for this Board!
