intermittentI've noticed the last week or two a slow cranking issue then yesterday check eng light came on and AC was intermitten . After parking awhile CEL went out and AC was normal
Today CEL came back and AC switch flashing ,intermitten low voltage warning from radar detector ,running rough and slow cranking
I've read about the PS fan and fuses but I'm wondering about the CEL . Anyone know what rhese all may have in common ?

Check your battery. How old is it?

Mini’s are notorious for weird electrical problems when the battery gets weak or the charging system isn’t putting out the voltage it should.

Car off and parked, battery voltage should be near 12.6 V and when it’s running should be 14.5 V or very close.

Take the battery to an auto parts store and have them check it for you, should be free. When my battery went out it was fine days before, had a weekend on the Dragon. Let her sit for days, then went out boom clicking that was it, tried jumping no luck. Took the battery to oriellys and they were able to get a charge on it but said it was getting ready to go, so I just replaced it. Wife was trying to save the money but in the long run we would have been right back in the same spot so i just bit the bullet. Taking that damn plastic cowl off the swap the battery isn’t bad just something I didn’t want to do twice.

Could also be a bad harmonic balancer. Check that it's spinning true, and see if the pulley is loose. The rubber can deteriorate and separate.
