R53 door lock actuator
R53 door lock actuator
Does anyone know of any BMW door lock actuator that cross-references with an R53? The cost of an R53 Mini actuator is a ridiculous $200+ but the cost of a BMW version is less than a third of that.
Nothing BMW-crossed coming up on realoem:

Can find $187-200 new or about half that used on EvilBay, a little more or less than our vendors. NAM and the local boneyards for part outs might be cheaper.
Side note: heard a ways back from an E46victim owner and have read elsewhere, that you should never use the physical key to open or lock these cars; always use the remote if possible. The lock cylinders are a major weak point (more of that legendary German pot metal and recycled plastic) and will break.

Yes left is US driver
Might be a while i have a couple aftermarket places on it. Might be 6 months or so longer. We have places we work closely with to make new MINI aftermarket items all the time. Sometimes those are exclusive to ECS. Like this : https://www.ecstuning.com/b-hamburg-...526754123~ham/ and https://www.ecstuning.com/b-hamburg-...27646555plug~/ for example. Without my and our input these would never get made as some places are not direct with suppliers. So i am glad to help.
Genuine MINI like this: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...r/82110421606/
Just takes time.
