My 2010 Diesel is due for a 100k service. Warning light has been coming on for last 1500kms. Last few days the amber mini on a hoist has been lit up as I unlocked it but would go out once started then a few times the red mini on a hoist was lit. Was booked for a service next week. Drove to work yesterday morning and it started good. Came out in the afternoon unlocked and amber hoist was on dash. Inserted key hob and got nothing but a few clicks when I pushed the start. I tried foot on brake, nothing. Tested battery. All good. Ended up calling garage who came with tow truck but then we couldn’t unlock the steering to get push it out of the tight car park. It’s a manual. Any suggestions? He is not a BMW mechanic. Am I going to have to get a specialist BMW mechanic for this one? This guy used to service my 2005 no problems but this one seems a bit more complicated!
