Need Help with Multiple Fault Codes

Hi Nam,

First off, I changed my steering wheel to an aftermarket one, and then I also changed my front seats to fixed back and eliminated seatbelts. I understand that I'll be getting codes. I also have a few other codes not related. So I have a few questions on bold below and hoping to get help sorting this out.

I used 3.9ohm for the steering wheel airbag, both the yellow and blue plugs for both driver and passenger. below are the codes when using autophix 7910 code reader.

1/6 - 03 Belt Tensioner, front passenger
2/6 - 60 Seat-belt lock, driver
3/6 - 61 Seat-belt lock, passenger
4/6 - 05 Side airbag, front left
5/6 - 06 Side airbag, front right
6/6 - 15 airbag driver, stage 2

Am I correct in using 3.9ohms? it is an early 05 MCS with no passenger occupancy sensor. I've read somewhere someone used 2.2ohm
is the 15 airbag driver stage 2 for the steering wheel? or is that for something else?
should I have added a resistor for the black plugs under the seats too?

Also found the following codes below for the EWS and need help understanding what they are

0F power on reset
33 toleration of changing code increased with key # 3
43 toleration of changing code increased with key # 4
53 toleration of changing code increased with key# 5

Did i mess something up when I installed my aftermarket steering wheel?

Oh, I need to add that my car starts and runs with no problems. Also have a bytetronik flash, not sure if that is relevant.

On the airbag light. You’ll need a resister to fool it at each sensor. Once the error is set you have to reset with inpa or other after fixing the cause...

the light stays on until reset iirr.

not sure on the right resister, maybe searchable here?

not as familiar with the other items

Update, I changed the resistors from 3.9 ohm to 2.2 ohm and that cleared 4 of 6 codes. I still have the airbag light. Now I am left 2 seatbelt lock errors, driver and passenger.

Do I also put a resistor on the black plug under the seat? Or does this need a mor advanced software to clear/deactivate?

thanks,

What scanner are u using?

the scanner must be able to reset codes. Most can.

not sure on the seatbelts. I’d imagine it’s looking for resistance from the tensioner

i’m using autophix that can reset or clear codes. But the codes keep coming back for those two. Not aure what else to do.

Which codes still remain? Sorry if you said already.

Are you using the stock seatbelts / locks?
