AC Evap leaks oil

AC Evap leaks oil
My daughter’s bf bought a project 06 MCS and we’ve done a lot to it. Head, clutch, suspension and now AC.
vacuumed down the AC and there was a slight leak so we filled it with oil, freon and dye. Ran the system and can’t find any leaks. About 20 minutes of running we started to have a reddish oil leaking from the evap drain. Strange thing is there is no dye in it.
I have the ac on a leak test statically right now but is it common for evaporators to leak? Any one have any links to the dash removal?
