I replaced with aftermarket thermostat from ebay and now I have CEL code P173B and pending P0117. as you can see coolant temp is -40. probably coolant temp sensor is defective? plus heater doesn't work at all.
any ideas?
+1 and make sure that you cleared the codes and that is not an old code also. If its still bad and hook up correctly we seen some of the those ebay thermostats fail when new.
