Anyone have experience with the undercoating on the floor pan?? Hubby noticed a silver dollar sized chip in the undercoat and some dis-colorization of beginning rust today. So sand 80-120 then what's your go to coat???

 

Por-15 makes an undercoating and all sorts of rust stopping products. Never used but have always seen it mentioned as a go to product.

Don't know what year you have and not sure if it is covered buy MINIs do have some warranties on rust. Don't know if it applies to under the car. Probably out of the warranty period anyway.

12 years, unlimited miles. But that would have to be late model 2008 to be even close. Most likely no warranty. Try to clean it up and use some undercoating stuff.
