Boost pressure issue.
Boost pressure issue.
So I'm looking for any help I can possibly get here I can't seem to find the issue.
I recently replaced the thermostat housing and water pipe that runs behind the block because the car was leaking coolant. After we finally got all the coolant leaks fixed and go to test drive the car. The car is idling normally started after a week with ease and has normal vacuum numbers. However the car will not build boost and entered limp mode. Throwing a check engine light for a downstream throttle air leak. I have pulled the diverter valve out and looked at it. The diaphragm seems to be fine and still in one piece.
At this point I am thinking maybe a waste gate vaccum line leak. However I couldn't seem to find where the vaccum line runs to. Any diagrams or other ideas would be much appreciated thank you so much to anyone that has an idea of how to fix this.

Time for you to learn about the illustrated parts list most of us use --- https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select There's a diagram in there you should be able to figure out.
Also, as a "newbie" to the forum, you might someday want to use the repair procedures Mini techs use --- https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/ well illustrated and complete with torque specs.
Have fun ---
