My half engine light will come on when either im getting on it and let my foot out of the throttle really fast,,or if I rev it up a few times and just let my foot off quickly...is this a wasstegate problem ?
The engine actually dosent seem to loose any power. and the light goes off after little bit of drivning .

Sounds to me like a diverter valve problem. Can't really give good advice without knowing the code being thrown. If you don't have a code reader, try a local auto parts store, some of them will be happy to read your codes and sell you a fix.

Thanks for your reply. I have code reader but it just shows up on the tach and dosent show a code that my foxwell tool can pick up at least. I just changed the divter valve out thinking that might be it and didnt make a diffrence.
