Died on test drive. need help diagnosing.

Ok, i have this car i just got back from the shop after a blown head gasket. the car has an M& Manic tune, a Ko4 Hybrid turbo(and head studs to go with it) and has full bolt on. I was driving around the lock with the nice weather NE got and she died while driving. Now when I try to start it doesn't sound much as a crank, as it does a small motor running. I think it is on the electrical side due for a few reasons.

1. Fuel- there was no sputtering when it died. it just stopped.
2.compression- same as fuel. didn't seam to be losing compression, and there was no white smoke or anything indicating a blown head.
3. the car sat for a minute before going into the 8 months at the shop. there could be some wear on electrical components.
4. ECU/DME -OK, so this is kind of where I think the problem may lie, but could use some help. When my car last stopped working, the shop said the ECU was the issue as well, so i had the data transferred over to a used ECU. could this be an issue there?

please ask if you need any more details. i could use the help.

Can you elaborate?
