TCS/Sport/Win.Lock not working

Good day to all, my ‘12 Countryman base has been misbehaving recently. The entire module where the TCS, “sport mode”, and the window child lock buttons are housed hasn’t been working. About 1/10th of the time it’ll come to life and I’ll be able to used the buttons. I’m not sure if it’s as simple as a fuse or as complicated as a deep wiring issue. Either way any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Battery? Weird electrical problems creep up on a marginal battery.

I would pull the switch panel and check the wires behind it, either that or the fuse went and are shared. Last thing might be footwell module having issues, have you had water in the carpets before or a leaking sunroof?

no my battery seems to be in check, it’s not that old. Nonetheless I can have it’s amperage checked.

I called a mini tech and he said “the entire unit where the buttons are housed should be controlled by a fuse” my money is on a blown fuse. I don’t have a sunroof and my car rarely sees water due to the fact that I live in SoCal lol. I’ve been deep searching for fuse diagrams because the diagram supplied to us from mini isn’t very specific.

This is one of the only places that might have the wire diagrams: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/
