Best Rear Stabilizer/Sway bar links

I need to replace mine but I'm unsure of what would cause me to pay more or less. Why would I spend $26 instead of $6? Does anyone know?

33506772789 Delphi Stabilizer/Sway Bar Link $19.99 each
33506772789 Karlyn Stabilizer/Sway Bar Link $5.75 each
33551507999 Lemfoerder Stabilizer/Sway Bar Link; Rear $25.95 each

Not sure I would go with the cheapest... I'd be worried about rusting issues down the road. I probably wouldn't buy the most expensive either, something about throwing money away...

Too late....I bought the cheapest. The existing one from Mini are already rusted that is one of the reasons I'm replacing them. Unless you paint them, I think they would all rust. I may end up painting them as well as the bushing clamp and bolts. Those are rusted too. I looked at replacing and the are too expensive. So my plan is to "de-rust", prime and paint them RED like the rest of my car or black. Not sure yet.

I looked up http://www.karlynsti.com/Folders/Karlyn.htm and kinda like supporting a small company that seems to have been around awhile and is supplying after market parts for MINI.

Why pay more? Quality materials, ie. Steel, rubber, nuts plus Quality workmanship produces consistent manufactured parts that will last longer. Karlyn parts might last a year or two if they will even fit in the first place. The nuts may not fit the threads, the threads may be inconsistent depths, it may completely rust, snap or the rubber may rip or slip within a few thousand miles.

Simply put, you get what you pay for, Chinese crap is just not worth it.

Lemfoerder will likely be the last ones you will purchase. They were likely the OE ones for your car and usually last 80 to 100K.

How much is your time worth?

If Lemfoerder is OEM then they lasted <$60K. They are rusted on both sides and they were trash. This I can look under the car and see and feel.
Anyway, it is too Late.
I bought the Karlyn ones. Karlyn Industries is a German Engineering US company in NY. Why do you say they are Chinese?
They have already arrived. They are painted black already so they definitely won't rust like the OEM ones. I can see also they sealed better with a metal external seal. I think I will end up epoxying or JB-welding the metal seal. This will ensure this will last longer. I think the other ones look like plastic seals.

If I could do it over, I think I may have gotten the Meyle HD (Heavy Duty) ones.

Here is just one example but there are many many more: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...Brand-any-good

Maybe they are better now but their reputation is one of the lowest quality and price. Popular for putting on a car you are ready to sell.

Thanks I can definitely see the Meyer HD are better from the pictures. I'm not sure those other brands are much better though.

I wonder if I could sell them on Ebay? Too cheap to mail back I guess.
