I have a 2009 R56 that makes a buzzing/ whining sound (like something is spinning is winding down). It’s very loud and noticeable in the cabin and outside the vehicle.

I found this YouTube video with the sound captured perfectly but the solution provided doesn’t solve the problem. I replaced the turbo wastegate solenoid and it didn’t fix the problem at all.

Anyone our there have any other suggestions?

That’s odd.... the kazoo sound is a pretty classic symptom of a bad pressure converter. It’s possible you got a bad one as a replacement, maybe.
Just to verify, you replaced the solenoid under the intake manifold that has 2 vacuum lines attached to it, right?
