I have a 2009 R56 that makes a buzzing/ whining sound (like something is spinning is winding down). It’s very loud and noticeable in the cabin and outside the vehicle.
with the sound captured perfectly but the solution provided doesn’t solve the problem. I replaced the turbo wastegate solenoid and it didn’t fix the problem at all.
That’s odd.... the kazoo sound is a pretty classic symptom of a bad pressure converter. It’s possible you got a bad one as a replacement, maybe.
Just to verify, you replaced the solenoid under the intake manifold that has 2 vacuum lines attached to it, right?
