07 mcs died, possible dme failure?

my 07 mcs died after cel came on and code read as bad knock sensor, I had to order one. on the way home, my car died and would not restart. replaced knock sensor and my mcs will still not start. scanned the codes again, and it has the code for lo and high reading on cam position sensor(CPS). as well high and low fault for co2 sensors. I replaced the cps with oem component and will still not start, read the codes again. it has the same codes as before. But also has a dme fault.

check the wires to the DME and relays next to it. also, do a quick compression test just to verify mechanical correctness.
