Possible short? No power at all, battery is fine....
Hi folks - need some help diagnosing an electrical issue on my r53. long story short, i was installing driving lights and stupidly forgot to unplug the battery [before anyone flames me, i know this was stupid... normally very good about that safety precaution, but it just slipped my mind]. Anyway, when I tried to unscrew the bolt that connects the + power lead/strap in the engine bay fuse box, I saw some sparks and then car lost all power.
- I've checked all the fuses in both fuse box locations and they are good (are there any other fuses to check?)
- Voltometer says battery is totally fine
- Tried jump starting, and did not work
Would appreciate some any thoughts or advice! Thanks!

Been reading up and I have not actually checked all the fuses. I didn't realize the main fuses are underneath the fuse box. I'm guessing/hoping one of them is fried... will check tomorrow.
For others that may bump into this... lemme save you a few hours. There’s a “master” fuse in the boot next to the battery - 200 amp sucker. Check that one first before checking every single other fuse and relay in the car
