I need some HELP on a couple things (MCS JCW experts, step inside...)

Scenario one: I think I'd been running my car with zero boost. I changed the air filter today, but must have broken the turbo inlet pipe in doing so (more on that later). I put the new filter in, put everything back together and started the car. It barely idled and almost died at idle...BUT I could hear the turbo spool for the first time when I brought RPMs above 1500; it definitely didnt sound like that before. . not sure what happened/changed. I drove down the street and back and when I parked, I popped the hood and saw that the pipe going to the center of the turbo inlet was completely broken right in front of the turbo, about an inch between the crack/break. Any ideas?

Scenario two: (maybe related?) I noticed a pipe right by the firewall that was also disconnected, but i connected it (the best that I could) back to the opening it went into. There is red writing on the top part, where the hose connects to, but it's worn off. Also, there seems to either be a piece missing that hold it in place or the foam around outside has worn off so much that it wont hold itself in place. I tried taping it up in there until I can fix it. What is this? I I couldn't really tell where the hose goes, but it runs on the back / top of the motor right near the firewall. Is it related to Scenario 1?

I am for sure replacing the intake tube...but what else is going on!????

Thank you!

the pipe that's going into the firewall
is just the noise maker
it really doesn't do anything except make sounds inside the car

but the intake pipe that goes into the turbo
if that's broken
that's most likely the problem.
I would replace that right away
and I don't know if I'd be driving it without it
it definitely won't hurt it but if something gets sucked up in there
you could destroy the turbo
it's a pretty common thing to break.
so many heat cycles.
that was actually my first mod I did to my car
that pipe broke and I had to replace it so I just replaced it with the forge
silicone pipe

Big Boost, the pipe you are talking as a noise maker, does it connect on the driver side? It would explain why the Bluetooth microphone sounds so crappy when driving. I personally don't mind cancelling this feature if I can.

as far as a Bluetooth speaker goes
I can't speak for that
but I found this photo on Google
the thing inside the blue line is the noise maker
goes into the firewall
there's like a little red piece of reflector tape on top
and yes you can delete it
there's a few solid kits you can ge
you can just leave that hole on the firewall open
