2010 mini coop s n14 62500 miles
cc id o31 has come up for a check engine light code. I replaced the gas cap and the code is still there. I installed a cheap blow valve adapter on from ebay onto the turbo so it made that lovely turbo noises, could this be the cause of it?

there is a vent valve under the intake manifold that could be stuck or defective. also, you can remove that adapter to see if the code returns, if not, then that would be the issue.
