i was wondering if anyone hears a strange hollow noise when shifting from 2nd to third, or the other way around.. it seems that my third gear at wot seems to vibrate real badly... and i fear it is the gear that's having trouble... it is really tiny, but sometimes if i half clutch i can hear it... even if i full clutch i hear it, just less

also is the exhaust popping of my scorpion doesnt hlp in makin it louder

10,000 miles later.... anyone have any clue? i got a pilo ss that maybe contributing to the vibrations in the shifter

 

It sounds like the exhaust is rattleing at Higher RPMS. It sounds like the same rattle I have. I have an Alta Exhaust on my 04 MCS.
