Need some help no power to coil pack

hello everyone, I bought a 2008 s there is no power from the dme to the coil pack, I replaced the dme still it doesn’t start but it cranks, I was able to run a wire from the battery positive to the green wire that leads to the coil pack the car would start, any idea why am I not getting any power to the coil pack? Thanks in advance

an idea

You replaced the DME before checking the wiring? was the DME coded to the car? Which coil doesn't have power?

Running a wire from the battery won't work. the DME fires the ignition coil by providing the ground circuit at just the right instant.

I just fixed a Fiat 500 with the same problem. I had to piggy back a wire from the DME connector to the coil harness because there was an open in the ground wire.

With the ignition on (car not running) check +12VDC on the positive wire. Next, check for continuity between each of the coil wires (positive & ground) between the terminal end and the respective pin on the DME connector. If you find any opens, repair the wiring

I did the continuity test and everything was fine, I’m not getting power from the green wire that goes the to the coil pack from connector in the middle part of the dme, but if I was to splice a wire from the battery positive to that same green wire the car would start.

No power to coil pack issue

Did you manage to solve this problem? If so what was the fault? My R56 is doing something similar it loses the spark abs will crank but not start abs when it is recovered to the garage it starts abs runs fine. Comes back to me the problem returns vehicle cuts out abs will not restart - fuel pressure is good pump is new

Thanks

Thanks very much for your prompt response. If my DME does indeed check out ok I will have a look at the SPEG fuse box on the passenger side. We’re there any obvious signs of failure on the fuse box?

SPEG fusebox removed opened up and no signs of corrosion or burned out or obvious failed components could be seen :(

all electrical connections looked good but were cleaned and dialectic grease applied to all terminals prior to reconnecting all wiring.

so the source of my car cutting out and losing the ignition spark continues :(
