Starting Issues/Dying out while driving.

Hello all, if you watch the video, you can see that the car refuses to start when I turn the key, randomly depending on how I place it in. The car is also developing a lovely habit of straight up dying on me while driving, at seemingly random times. On my way to work today the car cut out for a half second on the highway, which is rather terrifying. I did a bit of research into this and I can’t seem to find this exact issue anywhere. I want to think it’s the immobilizer but it also happens while i’m Driving. My only other guess would be a bad alternator?

What is the condition and how old is the battery?

Were you having problems previously? Have you checked the voltage at rest and while the car is running?

Look for corrosion and other connection issues in battery cables and ground straps on the car.
