A Question for you Technophiles
A Question for you Technophiles
Good evening. I've experienced an anamoly that is heretofore unexplained...
Being a "nurse-turned-techie" (with regard to clinical systems) this one is kinda bizarre...
Here's the story...
I went and put some gas in Harriet. I arrived home, and being the total miniphile I am, I decided to listen to the radio. There was nothing running, no key in the ignition...
I decided that my pedals were dirty and wiped them off. When I emerged from the cockpit, the "follow-me-home" lights were on. They went off after their time, and so did the radio. I then turned the radio back on and sure enough, the lights came back on after about one minute. They again went off after the alloted time, but this time the radio continued to play.
I then shut everything down, set the alarm, disengaged the alarm, and started over. Have not been able to dup the prob., so I'm writing it off to a glitch. Anyone ever seen anything like this? I work with computers enough that I know every now and then they loose their minds.
Thanks!
Garrett

It gets more weird...
Just went out and the radio controls were still illuminated on the steering wheel. I started the car and turned it off and they went off...had been on for about an hour...
Anyone? 70+ reads and no substantive responses...
Thanks--Garrett

My radio stays on for 20 mins if turned on with key off.My follow me homes are set for 60 secs.My interior lights stay on about 45 secs.Nothing turns on by itself, ever.Sorry about not having an answer, but if it happens again, take it to your dealer
Yep. You are describing mine exactly...before tonight. I suspect it's an anomaly...got 3+ inches of rain today...maybe moisture? Don't know. Since the lights on the steering wheel incident, she has behaved...can't take her in 'till the prob can be duplicated..."unable to duplicate" does nothing but boost my B/P and **** me off...not that any of y'all can relate to that
