N14 front main seal help.

Can someone please provide me with the dimensions of this part. what is the outside dimension and what is the three bolt hole circle diameter I'm going to make a machined plastic seal install tool.

I'm wondering the same. if someone can provide the measurements, I'll draw it in Solidworks and design a seal installer and share that file up here.

I have the tool, but I'm traveling until 10 Nov. The diameter of the tool is identical to the front crankshaft hub. You can also measure the center-to-center hold distance from the holes on the crankshaft hub.

The tool in the picture you posted is incomplete. It's missing the center bolt.

The picture he posted isn't of the tool. It is the actual piece that stabs into the crank and oil pump sprocket. I've looked at the same thing just few days ago and I think I'm going to design the tool (copy-cat version) to install the seal.
Since I have a good friend working in a machine shop, I'll design the blue print on solidworks and send it to him to mill with. I've attached a quick sketch of what I'm looking to make. All it's missing is the M12x1.5 hex nut and we're in business. (I've eye-balled the dimensions to create this drawing, until I confirm the measurements with a caliber, this is a rough sketch. I'll be updating the measurements tomorrow).

center of the M8x1.0 (needs checking) bolt holes is 24mm (confirmed) from center of crankshaft bolt location. You'll just need to tap in the thread for those three holes at 120 degrees apart.

I have a fel-pro seal in my hand so I'm happy to refine the design to work nicely with the included installation sleeve. Here is a rough concept. I'm not sure what the exact OD should be, but I got a measurement from the seal to start off with. I plan to make this tool out of plastic ( UHMW), I'll have a hex head bolt that presses in from the back side, and use a 2 inch sch 80 PVC cap if the dimensions work out.

Yep, that's about right, but your OD of the tool base (62mm) is likely a bit too big. I think 61 to 61.5 will be good enough. And with that spring lip from the gasket itself, you can create an outdraft going from 61 to 61.5 at the base to advance the gasket into the slot.
