Car does not track straight from dead stop

2009 MCS w/ 53K ... From a dead stop and stop on the gas the car does Not track straight. I can feel the front end go left then right and back again, I let off the gas after 80mph because it'll just sway back and forth. But if I'm cruising on a highway and step on the gas from 65 to 100mph, no problem. Everything is still stock on the car. Rear tires need replacing, but front tires are ok.

If Anyone know's what could be causing this would be appreciated .....

First thing to check is the front control arm bushings.
if there’s some play there replace them with the
Powerflex ones (they last forever unlike the stock
ones that fail every 30-50K miles).
This will keep the front toe setting from wandering around
which happens with worn LCA bushings.

if the LCA bushings are ok or have already been upgraded,
check ball joints, tie rod ends and alignment.
(If you’re doing the bushings, also check these things of course).

Sounds like a mild case of "torque steering". Happens to me all the time, but a lot more severe than described here. I've been known to un-intentionally change lanes when stomping the gas pedal in 1st gear. Received a couple "cautions" when launching at the local drag strip too.

You should still check the bushings as described above.
