I've changed the oil and plugs on my son's 08 R55. I bought a transmission filter and gasket, but I don't see where to fill up the transmission nor did I find any Youtube instructional videos. Where do I fill it up, I'm not draining it until know how to fill it. lol

 

Search this site for drain & refill, several threads about it.

You drain by pulling out the plastic standpipe, which is inside drain plug on bottom of tranny.

Easiest way to refill (for me anyway) is to pump the new atf up thru the standpipe. When the excess runs out, the level is correct.

I used a cheapo suction gun, don't need expensive tools.

 

Are there different auto trannys installed in the R55?

It's the same as the R56, so I'd search for that instead. You'll get more results.
