Weird Sound (like grinding chain)
After 1300rpm this weird sound(it’s like a chain is grinding or something) when pressing the accelerator. It also comes when stationary. I popped up the hood and tried to listen it but it was inaudible. But it’s certainly coming from engine bay. Oil level is ok and there are no error codes.

take the valve cover off and inspect the chain and all. Also, check for misfire and the serpentine belt (check for chips). the sound almost sounds like a vacuum pump with the pulses..the chain would be more constant noise.

I am using icarly for ios.
sound has gone after driving for about an hour. but it was coming when the engine is hot. so, I don't really know. I have to go out of the city for the weekend with the car. I hope it doesn't disappoints me.
