CVT Transmission Rebuild

I posted on a few people's threads, however, I wanted to start my own. I bought a 2005 Mini Cooper base with CVT transmission. As you can assume I got the car for cheap because the belt had broke on the CVT transmission. The car is in fairly excellent condition other than this one issue. I have rebuilt the CVT transmission and placed it back in the vehicle and am still experiencing the same issues. I put the car into drive or reverse and nothing happens. If anyone would consider themselves an expert or has any helpful information that might help it would be greatly appreciated. I would hate for a decent car, besides the transmission obviously, go to waste or become another parts car in the junkyard.

A quick update for anyone interested. I replaced the two solenoids and the stepper motor, as well as the fluid and filter for a second time. After doing all this and placing everything back in the vehicle for what felt like the millionth time, I was able to get the wheels to spin. They only spin at 5000 rpm or more, which tells me it might only need the adaptation reset. If anyone has experienced this before and found a solution if you could please help before I end up having to spend $150 at the dealership. Hopefully, after fixing this and the minor leaks coming from the car I will have successfully resurrected the car from being completely unusable.

Same issue cvt rebuild problems

I just finished to rebuilding the cvt to my mini cooper 2007 ( base model ) and here we go after assembled everything, the wheels doesn’t spin at all! In R or D or N or P seems the same thing, nothing happens to the wheels.
The F3 15A fuse in the engine popped 3 times and the EP showed in the dash, I’m stuck in this issue😫
can somebody help me please!!

They work on these all the time.

Hopefully you have a great one nearby....like I do !!!!

I would for sure reset the trans adaptations.
You can use the Bav technic software do it the CVT distance adaptation clear and also read out codes and such rather than paying the dealer for a one time service.
https://www.waymotorworks.com/bavari...-software.html

But honestly we've seen many people try to rebuild the CVT and not be successful as we even have a local shop that claims to rebuild them and I get nothing but stories of people that have gone there and thousands $$ later they still don't have a working trans.
