2009 mini cooper s exhaust leak. the mesh section of the midpipe is loose, i can spin it around. is this supposed to be welded together or just pressed to fit? any suggestions on a repair or a replacement that wont kill the wallet? is it possible to purchase just that section and splice it in? i was only able to find the entire midpipe for sale online so far. any info will be greatly appreciated
