I went to replace the fuel filter and discovered this before taking apart. I obviously replaced the gaskets which come with the fuel filter but I wonder if there is a gasket on the inlet i need to address or did i get it covered?

Is it fuel (smell it), or just filthy condensation? It gets pretty filthy in there over time.
