2009 Cooper Toggle Replacement

Howdy all,

The plastic toggle for my sunroof has failed after having the car for 9 years. I got the failed part out and I am trying to find a place to purchase a new one, but I can't seem to locate the proper item. I have found several toggles on Mini part websites by they have different styles that won't work and I can't find the design I need.

I need the actual plastic toggle piece. Anyone have a good lead on where to begin?

Thanks for the tip! I called them and I learned Mini doesn't sell JUST that piece. You have to buy the entire $300+ console that includes those switches. That sucks.

I needed another Mini part so atleast I can throw Outmotoring.com an order and a few bucks for the phone call.

I guess I will need to consider junk yards or a getting a used part to replace that switch.

Anyone got a part laying around they want to sell?

Thanks!

If the only thing broken is the white plastic "washer" couldn't you just manufacture a replacement or scour your local hardware stores for a similar size plastic washer that can be modified to fit?
