Mini Smoking
Mini Smoking
Hi Everyone,
I do apologize if I'm in the wrong forum.
I have a 2009 Mini Cooper S with 67k miles, I have changed eh gaskets, sparks, oil and still have a smoke coming out, just a little when I step on the gas.
all levels are good and are not leaking at all.
Any idea that can be?
thanks a lot

welcome aboard my friend...I suppose when you did the gasket changes, some oil leaked down onto the flex pipe or exhaust. Jack up the car and take a look at that area. Also make sure the oil housing cap is tight and not dripping out.
Thanks for your quick reply.....
I have another quick question, is the Mini too hard to drive? every time I get a small hole, feels like a massive hole the way the car absorb it.
got new tires
thanks and have a lovely day

the suspension is a little sensitive and that's normal. I do suggest checking the strut mounts for cracks (post pictures if you'd like). also, run flats give even harder feel on the road.
