Mystery MINI Connector

I recently blew up my mini r56 base's engine so I did a used motor and transaxle replacement. After assembling everything I was left with this last connector. The car itself runs but once warm it would stalls on idle, and there are electrical bugs such as the windshield wipers turning on and staying on as well as the radiator fan turning on and staying on. Its a two wire locking connector located by the ECU. Any help would be a life saver, thanks!!

if you look at the manual transmission shifting mechanism, you will see an open plug.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it when I can make it out to the garage next week. I guess I must have missed it with the shifting cables and coolant system on top of it, Thanks!
