Anyone have any idea what this mystery connector is? (the small one, not the power socket adapter)

I was pulling out the interior trim to do a speaker install, and this connector was just dangling there. Hoping it's not supposed to be connected to anything, because I wouldn't know where to put it if it was.

 

Is there a pic? If it's the left rear quarter trim and it's by the power socket, it may be for the light for the trunk.

 

I would say that IS the connector for the power socket, given the size of the connector.

 

That makes complete sense! I totally forgot I took that out.
