Mystery connector on the right rear side

So I was just upgrading my rear speakers using the great instructions here on the site. In the process I removed the various internal trim pieces for my 2007 MCS.

On the right rear side (behind the little door used for access to the turn signals) there is an extra unused connector on that harness. Anyone know what it is for? I'm just curious...

^^^^^and is (I believe) a connector for the GPS receiver used in cars with NAV Option.
