What is this part?

Hey all, I am in the process of disassembling my block for core. I am putting a long block in my '11 MCS.

I am struggling to remove this timing solenoid on the rear of the intake camshaft. I am not even sure what the name of the part is to look it up and find a manual. Everything that comes up when I search for variable valve timing solenoid (Or some variation of) it gives me the hydraulic VANOS solenoid on the front of the cam.

Thanks!!!

There is a hole at the back of it. you can use a T30 I think to turn it while pulling it out.
